Iowa Family Policy Center ACTION is 501(c)4 non-profit organization dedicated to equipping, empowering and encouraging Iowans to build communities where families are valued and strengthened.
Critical IFPC Issues
Marriage: Believing that marriage is a permanent, lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, IFPC Action equips pastors and community leaders to support and defend healthy marriages.
Sanctity of Life: IFPC Action actively supports the protection of life from conception to natural death.
Education: Believing truth exists and educational responsibility lies first with parents, IFPC Action works to ensure parents can choose the type of education that reflects their values and best meets the academic needs of their children.
Gambling: IFPC Action challenges the establishment and spread of gambling because it wreaks havoc on individuals, families and communities.
Sexuality: IFPC Action affirms sexual relations within the bond of marriage, and opposes distortions of sexuality or special rights to those practicing distorted sexual behavior.
Taxes and Spending: NEW IN 2009 IFPC Action recognizes the negative impact on the family of excessive taxes and government spending, and seeks to promote sound fiscal public policies.
